Creating a Search is the way you find members that you might want to connect with. The search process consists of entering your search criteria in the various fields of the Search Form, and then examining the Search Returns which contain the profiles that meet your search criteria.
The Search Form is the document you fill out to specify the qualities and characteristics you are seeking.
The more criteria you specify, the fewer returns you will receive.
After clicking Search on the Search Form, you will be taken to the Search Returns. You will view all of the member profiles that meet your search criteria. The returns will be broken up by page to facilitate easier browsing.
The fewer criteria you enter in the search form, the more returns you will receive. For example: You will receive more search returns if you simply enter the sex of the person you seek, and the desired zip code, than if (in addition to sex and zip code) you Search for someone who speaks Greek, likes to meditate, and cooks French cuisine. Another way to increase the number of returns you received is by increasing the distance field from your zip code to include nearby zip codes. The distance field will be found directly under the zip code field in your Search Form.
If you want to decrease the amount of returns you receive, increase the amount of fields you fill out in the Search Form. The more criteria you enter, the fewer returns will be received. Also, decrease the distance field from you zip code to exclude nearby zip codes.
Leave a search field blank if the quality in that field isn't important to you or if you don't want to answer the question.
