The first step is to find members who interest you.
The public faces of our members are contained in their Profiles. Every
member has a unique, descriptive Profile. Profiles may contain photos.
To find member profiles, start by
performing a search.

Once you find a member that you want to contact, you may send an e-mail. E-mails you send on this site are confined within FiftyPlusConnect.com. E-mail addresses are not displayed the way they are on the general Internet. We've set up our private e-mail system to protect your anonymity while providing a robust way for you to communicate. To e-mail a member, click “Send E-mail” on that member’s Profile. A window will appear for you to write your e-mail message. Notice of your e-mail will appear on that member's e-mail list on the Home Page. FiftyPlusConnect.com will alert the member via their external e-mail account that an unread e-mail is on the site.

Sending an “Interested” message is another way to communicate. “Interested” provides a quick way for you to let someone know you’ve noticed them. The link appears under the Photo in their Profile. It serves as an invitation for that user to respond to you by clicking “Interested” which appears in the window of the message you send.

You can save a member to your A-List if you think you’d like to return to his or her Profile at a later time. The people you A-List will not be alerted that you've A-Listed them. Profiles can be removed from your A-List at any point. To view your A-List, simply log on and click A-List in your Navigation Bar or on your Home Page.

Subscribers may communicate within Chat Rooms. Being part of a Chat Room is like participating in a conversation with many people, except the conversation happens via the internet, on a computer. Chat Room communication happens in real time. FiftyPlusConenct.com offers a General Chat Room for communication on any topic chosen by the participants. We also offer a Widow and Widowers Chat Room to accommodate the various topics appropriate to those who have lost a spouse or significant other.
